Our target groups

Career Services focuses on four target groups: students, faculty and alumni of the School of Business and Economics, as well as potential employers for SBE graduates. Below is a concise overview of activities according to target group:

SBE students
Career Services provides career-related services for all students following government-funded Bachelor and Master's programmes at the FEWEB, up to one year after they graduate. This represents a total of around 5000 students and recent graduates each year.

Career Services supports the faculty and programme management in establishing contacts that strengthen the link between theory and practice, and supplies relevant information. The services offered by Career Services are agreed on with the programme managers and coordinators, and customized activities can be developed on request.

The FEWEB has approximately 23,000 alumni. The faculty invests in building and maintaining good relationships with its alumni. FEWEB's alumni policy focuses on degree level and is placed under the responsibility of Career Services. The office plays a coordinating and initiating role in the implementation of the FEWEB Alumni Policy, which was adopted in 2013, and in the Advisory Boards.

Career Services is a point of contact for employers seeking to come into contact with students or academic staff, either for job vacancies or internships, or to contribute to the curriculum by providing a case study or guest lecture. Career Services maintains a network with recruitment contacts and hiring managers for this purpose.
